Ignazio Ziano received his a BSc in Psychology and a MSc in Work and Organizational Psychology from the University of Torino (Italy), a Diploma (BA equivalent) in Piano at the Conservatory of Cuneo (Italy), and a PhD in Business Economics (concentration Marketing) from the University of Ghent (Belgium). During his doctoral studies he conducted research stays at Virginia Tech and the University of Houston (USA). He joined the Marketing Department at GEM in September 2018. His research interests include impression formation based on consumption, judgment and decision making, and perceptions of economic inequality. His work has been published in Nature: Human Behaviour and Journal of Business Research, and presented at several international marketing conferences. At GEM, he teaches Market Research in the MSc Marketing (Grenoble) and Consumer Behavior in the BIB (Paris). He is passionate about basketball and reading history books and biographies.
